By using Keburu (keburu.org), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

1. Service Description

Keburu is a STEM opportunities platform that connects users with research positions, internships, mentorship, and professional opportunities. We facilitate discovery, applications, and communication between users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Keburu. If under 18, you need parental permission. You must provide accurate registration information.

3. Account Security

Keep your password confidential
You're responsible for all activity under your account
Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
One account per person

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Harass, spam, or abuse other users
Post false or misleading opportunities
Misrepresent your identity or qualifications
Attempt unauthorized access to the platform
Use Keburu for unlawful purposes
Scrape data or interfere with platform operation

5. User Content

You're responsible for content you post (profiles, applications, messages). By posting, you grant Keburu a license to display your content in connection with operating the platform.

Don't post content that infringes others' rights or is defamatory, obscene, or illegal.

6. Opportunities

Keburu doesn't guarantee placements or outcomes
Opportunity providers are responsible for listing accuracy
Applicants are responsible for application accuracy
Verify opportunity details independently

7. Messaging

Use messaging for legitimate professional purposes. You may block users. Abuse may result in restrictions or termination.

8. Moderation

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion. We may report illegal activity to authorities.

9. Termination

You may delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations. Upon termination, your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

Keburu's platform, design, and branding are our property. Don't copy or reuse without permission.

11. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. WE DON'T GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE OR OPPORTUNITY OUTCOMES.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KEBURU IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE PLATFORM.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
